LUFC Pair continue to gain match fitness

Leeds United have played another behind closed doors friendly to aid the return to fitness of a number of players.

Ben Parker and Billy Paynter completed another 90 minutes as they return to full fitness and Lloyd Sam made his comeback from injury and played the vast majority of the game.

Also getting a run out were, Federico Bessone, Adam Clayton, Leigh Bromby, Andy Hughes, Jason Crowe, Ramon Nunez and Andy Robinson.

Leeds lost 3-2 to a strong Blackburn Rovers side with Adam Clayton and Andy Robinson scoring the goals for Leeds.

Leeds trailed 2-0 at one stage before getting back on level terms; Blackburn won the game in the final five minutes.

Great that both Paynter and Parker are getting some action. With no reserve games the club have done well to arrange all these behind closed door friendlies.

Hopefully Paynter will get a little longer on the pitch this saturday. It will be goos to have these two fully fit as we now go into a very bust November and Christmas period.
