LUFC Paynter and Parker continue comeback

LUFC Paynter and Parker continue comeback

Billy Paynter and Ben Parker continued on the comeback trail when they both completed 90 minutes of a behind closed doors friendly at Stoke City.

Paynter is still to make his senior first team debut for Leeds since arriving from Swindon Town in the summer, whilst Ben Parker has started only one game since the opening day of the 2009/10 season after suffering a number of injuries.

The game was also a chance for a number of players to gain some much-needed time on the pitch with Aidy White, Alex Bruce, Leigh Bromby, Federico Bessone and Ramon Nunez all playing.

With no reserve team fixture now until November 16th, Simon Grayson has arranged another behind closed doors friendly next week against an unnamed Premiership side.

Ramon Nunez scored Leeds goal in a 2-1 defeat against a strong Stoke City side.
