LUFC Middlesbrough v Leeds Team News

Leeds United return to Championship action this weekend with a trip to Middlesbrough and they welcome back a number of first team players to the squad.

Leeds were without ten first team players for their last game at Ipswich Town before the international break, but can welcome back Paul Connolly, Federico Bessone, Aidy White, Ross McCormack, Leigh Bromby and Lloyd Sam who have all returned to training.

Billy Paynter and Ben Parker have both come through a reserve outing this week but it is still too soon for a first time appearance.

Kasper Schmeichel is still a major doubt and fellow goalkeeper Shane Higgs is out with a hamstring injury so on loan keeper Jason Brown looks like making his first start for the club

Long term injured Patrick Kisnorbo is still missing and Alex Bruce serves a one-match suspension for his sending off at Ipswich.

Barry Robson will be missing for the hosts as he serves the first game of his three-match suspension.

Still out are Willo Flood, Rhys Williams, Jonathan Franks and former Leeds defender Matt Kilgallon through injury.

Great to see a few of these back, I really think we have missed Connolly at right back. Don't think we need worry about Bessone I think McCartney will keep him out. Just can't wait for Kasper, Parker and Paynter to be back in the near future.
