LUFC Grayson confident of response

Leeds United boss Simon Grayson is confident his players will bounce back from the poor performance on Tuesday night when they travel to Ipswich Town on Saturday.

Leeds let slip a 4-1 first half lead to Preston and eventually lost 6-4 which Grayson admitted left him embarrassed and ashamed.

Grayson says he`s had a terrific response from his players in training since the defeat and they are keen to put things right. Speaking on the official website, Grayson said, "They have responded in training and after what happened they are all keen to impress and show us that they are ready for Saturday."

Both sides will be going into Saturday`s game hoping to return to winning ways. Ipswich picked up just one point from two away games last week and will want to impress on their return to Portman Road.

The sides are currently separated by one point in the table with Ipswich seventh and Leeds tenth.

Lets hope they bounce back...I'd Grayson had some hard words to say to them after we got hammered, by Preston so hopefully we can put that behind us and get the three points at Ipswich...

For Graysons sake they better bounce back or he could be history very soon with KBs record.

Didn't Grayson expect the same after the Barnsley game? Only three games later and he's saying the same again. He needs to change the middle of the park. Time to see what Faye and Nunez can bring to the table. The midfield just hasn't been good enough.

I'm rite with ya dazza on that one - nunez and faye must come in - we also have snodgrass back so we could certainly shake the midfield up. If I was grayson I'd even consider bringin in that loanee keeper - higgs confidence must be shot by now
