LUFC Leeds v Sheffield United Team News

Leeds return to Elland Road on Saturday for yet another Yorkshire derby, this time against Sheffield United.

New loan signing George McCartney is expected to go straight into the Leeds squad and could start with Federico Bessone still injured.

Paul Connolly missed the Doncaster game with a hamstring injury and will still be missing for this one.

Billy Paynter has had a setback in his recovery after playing in a behind closed doors friendly last week and remains on the sidelines.

Ross McCormack started his first game for the club but was replaced half way through the second half with an ankle injury.

Robert Snodgrass and Amdy Faye both came through 90 minutes for the reserves in midweek and will be pushing for inclusion.

Honduran international Ramon Nunez has finally received international clearance and could be added to the squad.

Adam Clayton will be missing after being sent off in the midweek reserve draw with Middlesbrough.

Also still missing are Kasper Schmeichel, Ben Parker and Patrick Kisnorbo with longer-term injuries.

Sheffield United welcome former England goalkeeper Richard Wright into the squad after he signed in midweek.

Striker Daniel Bogdanovic who claimed Leeds were chasing him during the summer, could make his first start for the Blades after coming through a reserve game in midweek.

Stephen Quinn and Mark Yeates are both pushing for recalls to the starting eleven.

The game will see a familiar face return to Elland Road with Sheffield United.

He's got a lot of options to pick from this week with Nunez also added to the squad. Scary to think we have five or six still injured.

Even more scary to think he will probably bring back Naylor after only resting him for Donny.(pretty clear Bessone was dropped). Good guessing game for the side this week.

Grayson, please, please, please leave Naylor out of the side.
