'If It's Football, It's Vital'

LUFC Nearly 7,000 on their way to Barnsley

Following on from an article on this site earlier on this week praising the dedication of Leeds fans, Leeds have now confirmed that the full allocation for the trip to Barnsley on Tuesday is now sold out.

Leeds received an allocation of just over 6,700 for the game and the final tickets have now gone.

What makes the feat even more remarkable is in these times of financial struggle the game takes place in the middle of a run of three games in six days.

Having sold out every away league allocation last season and having already sold out the first five games of this season, the players can be guaranteed of fantastic support from the away end as usual.

Once again fantastic support, I really don't know how people can continue to afford it. With 3 games in six days, even if you lived in Leeds you are talking about spending around Ł150 with tickets, travel, food and drinks.

Great supporters and great support. We are often just associated with bad news regarding our fans but not many clubs have our level of support home and away. We have been out of the Premier League for six years and in that time we were the but of most fans jokes with the predicament we was in. Rather than run off and think about supporting someone else we stayed loyal, Marching On Together.

Shame barnsley would'nt give you anymore. Looks like we're (west ham) are keeping the biggest away following in the football league still ;)
