LUFC Leeds fined by FA over Forest incident

Leeds United have been fined 7,500 by the FA and warned about their future conduct after failing to control their players during the match at Nottingham Forest on the 15th August.

Leeds and Forest players got involved after Forest defender Chris Gunter stamped on Leeds player Sanchez Watt`s foot.

Both players were shown a yellow card but the FA decided to take further action after watching video replays of the incident.

The 7,500 fine that Leeds have received is the standard fine set by the FA for this sort of charge.

Nottingham Forest were given a slightly higher fine of 12,500 and Chris Gunter was given a three match suspension for violent conduct for the stamp on Watt.
