LUFC Grayson - We showed a lot of resilience

Leeds United boss Simon Grayson thought his side showed a lot of resilience as they fought back from going a goal down early on to claim a point at the City Ground against Nottingham Forest.

Speaking on Sky Sports, Grayson said, "I was very pleased; we showed a lot of spirit and a lot of resilience.
"They had a real go at us, which I expected them to do, we changed the system to make sure we could be a little bit more solid and we got a foothold back in the game and grew in confidence".

Leeds fell behind inside ten minutes to a Dexter Blackstock header and could have been two down inside fifteen minutes when Robert Earnshaw hit a post as the home side dominated.

After Sam had equalised for Leeds, Grayson thought his side showed great belief and could have quite easily have come away with three points in the end.

Leeds will now have no game in midweek and get ready for a showdown with old foes Millwall at Elland Road next Saturday.

It's the most animated I have seen him on the touchline and he looked ready to blow a gasket after the Watt incident. I wonder if he's feeling any pressure on himself?

Could be, but he needs to sort out the Centre Backs. Played like they didn't know each other for 20 mins

I don't know if it was resilience or lcuk, if Earnshaws effort in the first minute had been anywhere than straight at Schmeicel that would have been 1 and Earnshaw should have at least been testing Schmeichel when he hit the post. We didn't get a kick for the first 20 minutes but Leeds goal seemed to totally deflater Forest and we was the only side that looked like scoring in the second half.
