LUFC Leeds sign Man City youngster on loan
Leeds United have signed Manchester City midfielder Adam Clayton on a month`s loan.
Clayton has already won six caps for the England under 20 side despite yet making a first team appearance at Eastlands.
Leeds boss Simon Grayson was delighted to welcome the midfielder to the club, speaking on the official website Grayson said, "He is a young player with plenty of potential and he gained some good experience last season at Carlisle."
Clayton made 36 appearances for the Cumbrians last season, including three times against Leeds.
The youngster scored their opening goal in the second leg of the Johnstone`s Paint Trophy Northern final and was also on target from the spot in the penalty shoot out.
The 21 year old has signed in time to be eligible for Saturday`s game with Derby County.

I remember him taking his goal very cooly. Can't quite wotk out why he's joined on loan for a month though? Maybe Grayson wants to take a look before maybe offering him a seasons deal.

I would have said good move untill I saw him Sat, he came on and streight away lost the ball!!
I know it is hard coming on when the game is well under way, but he didn't really show anything after that either :(
