LUFC Bruce couldn't wait to sign
Alex Bruce couldn`t wait to sign for Leeds United once he knew of the clubs interest.
Bruce had been linked with fellow Yorkshire club Sheffield United and had been for talks with the Bramall Lane club.
As soon as Bruce heard of the interest from Simon Grayson and Leeds United his mind was made up. Speaking on the official website, Bruce said, "I got a phone call telling me about Leeds interest and my mind was all on coming here.
"Everyone knows the kind of club this is. It`s a huge club with a massive fan base and a great support."
The 25 year old signed in time to be available for Leeds final pre season friendly on Saturday at Elland Road against Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Looking forward to seeing what he can do, can't recall seeing him play for Ipswich in recent seasons but I always thought he was ok whilst at Birmingham. Another one at the right age who is only going to get better.
