'If It's Football, It's Vital'

What About The Bigger Clubs?

I have my own theory on pre-season friendlies, and wonder if the club is right to play three friendlies against lower league clubs.

Leeds have announced plans to play Hartlepool, Scunthorpe and Nottingham Forest in July before the new season gets underway on Saturday, August 5.

Personally I think it would be better for team spirit to play a bigger club and lose than risk a battle against a side who would obviously love the scalp of Leeds United under their belt before the start of the season.

The Elland Road side also plan to embark on a week-long tour abroad but, as yet, no details have been released.
