LUFC Grayson denies McArthur rumours

Leeds United boss Simon Grayson has distanced himself from making any bid for Hamilton Academicals midfielder James McArthur.

Leeds have been continuously linked with McArthur through the summer along with Wigan Athletic but Grayson as denied the club are in the chase for the 22 year old.

Speaking on the official website, Grayson said, 'I'd be lying if I said I wasn't aware of McArthur. We know about him, he's a good player, and he's been linked with a few Premier League clubs, but there's no deal in place and we have no intention of putting in a bid for him."

Grayson as so far made six signings during the summer as the club build for their first season back in the Championship after three seasons in League One.
