LUFC Elliott joins Millers on loan

Leeds United striker Tom Elliott has joined League Two side Rotherham United on loan until the New Year.

The 19 year old who hasn`t featured for Leeds since the arrival of Simon Grayson will stay at the Don Valley until January 3rd.

Elliott is best know for his debut for Leeds in 2007 against Norwich City, when just 16 and still at School.

He went on to make three substitute appearances that season as Leeds were relegated from the Championship.

The 6`4" striker has made just the one start for Leeds, he started the Carling Cup tie against Macclesfield Town in August 2007 before being substituted at half time, and he`s not been included in the Leeds side since.

In the 2008/09 season he spent time out on loan at Macclesfield Town where he made six appearances without scoring.

Last season he joined Bury on loan and made seventeen appearances scoring one goal.

His only goal for Bury came against Crewe in September and is still is only goal at first team level.

Good lcuk to him, I thought he'd do well at Bury and Macclesfield. I think he needs a few early goals to build his confidence.

Don't see him in S G thoughts so needs game time to push himself.

Time to say goodbye unless he does really well at Rotherham.
King Billy
I think he was so highly rated when he was a school kid, simply because of his size. Since he's been playing open age, he's struggled to make an impact. This is definately make or break for him this season.
