LUFC Collins delighted to be back

Leeds United`s latest summer signing Neil Collins is delighted to be back at Elland Road after spending the last two month`s of last season on loan at the club.

Collins played the last nine games of last season on loan from Preston North End, helping the club to promotion with a nail biting last day win over Bristol Rovers.

Speaking on the official website about the move, Collins said, "It`s great to come back after the success of last season.
When the opportunity came to come back I was delighted."

The defender has signed on a three-year deal for an undisclosed fee from Preston North End and becomes Simon Grayson`s fifth signing of the summer.

Grayson hinted last week that he was looking to bring in at least one new face ahead of the clubs two game pre season tour in Slovakia.

The players leave Leeds this weekend ahead of the first game against MFK Ruzomberok on Tuesday July 13th, they finish off the tour with a game against MFK Kosice on Friday July 16th.

Good to see a central defender join, would still like to see one more come in. Can't see Kisnorbo being the same when he eventually gets back from injury. Naylor needs to retire and would prefer someone a bit better than both Bromby and Collins.

Good news looked solid at the end of the Season, him and Kisnorbo would be a good pairing, likewise with regards to Naylor though Daz and we need another one at least.

If Kisnorbo recovers fully you should still get a bit more from him. Last season I would have picked him above all your players if I was allowed to buy one. He was awesome at times.

Im checking EVERY day in the hope that we get somebody to replace Naylor for good - He needs to go

Naylor is injured still!!! Time for him to retire, we have to bring in another centre back this summer.
