Didn't Charlton do well out of that deal, joined on a free and sell him for nearly half a million a year later. Prutton and Douglas in midfield for Swindon should be a good combination. I wish them both well, I really liked both of them during there time at Elland Road.

Looks like we should have kept Fraser with .5m changing hands

I couldn't understand why we let him go especially as we replaced him with Crowe and Bromby!
dazza71
Likewise paid 2 men to do what Fraser did, neither did it very well either
Tiny T
we should have kept him 450k we have thrown away well done papa smurf

Was captain as well for a while wasn't he? could there have been an off the field reason for him leaving because he has always looked good when I have seen him.
SFC Forever
didn't we let him go to save money on his premiership wages? If so we've no doubt saved more already for a player who wasn't in the first team at the time and wouldn't attract a fee with his wage demands?! not sure what else we could have done?
sparkx
I think that was the reason he had to go, he was on huge wages at Elland Road.
dazza71
Yea his wages were from the prem/championship days. Charlton took a punt on him for one season by matching his wages and now they cant afford him. The saints have money so i guess they will be going up next season. he is a good player and we miss him alot.

Good luck to Richardson!!!

We should never have let either of them go.
