LUFC More players still to come in

Leeds United boss Simon Grayson says the clubs summer transfer activity isn`t over yet as they look to bolster the squad further ahead of the new season.

Leeds have already brought in four player, Kasper Schmeichel, Billy Paynter, Paul Connolly and Federico Bessone have all arrived on free transfers and with the transfer window about to re open on July 1st, Grayson says he is getting nearing the squad he wants to tackle the Championship.

Speaking on the official website, Grayson said, "We`re getting there. I`m not putting numbers on it, but we`re actively looking to bring players in, build the squad and improve on what we did last year."

Leeds have also announced that they will be giving trials to a number of Brazilians when pre season training resumes in July.

The players will arrive on the recommendation of a talent scout who works in the mid and South American region.

Chairman Ken Bates reiterated Grayson`s comment when he told Yorkshire Radio, "Negotiations are ongoing, I can assure the fans to watch this space, but as ever we don`t comment, until something is done."

Leeds continue to be linked strongly with a number of players during the summer month`s, including strikers, Gary Hooper and Billy Sharp, midfielder James McArthur and defender Andy O`Brien.

I never thought I would hear myself syaing this but I actually think Bates is going for it next season. we may have brought in four players on free transfer but I bet there wages are quite high, especially Schmeichel who was on around £15,000 a week at Notts County. I am expecting a couple of good money signings in the next few weeks, think Grayson will want the players in place before the tour of Slovakia takes place.

I think Grayson knows the players he wants, and I think these are some of them Gary Hooper or Billy Sharp, midfielder James McArthur I just hope Andy O`Brien is coming in because I've seen him playing plenty of times, and they dont come any better! He plays at L/B but can play at any position across the back...

I think the reports linking Luis Fabiano and Kaka with the club are just speculation by their agents. Would they fit in with SG's plans? I like upmarket!
