LUFC Leeds amongst front runners for Championship
Leeds United are a tasty 14/1 at the moment with Vital football`s current bookmaker sponsors Corals to win the Championship.
With Leeds already adding four players to their squad for next season, the bookmakers have them amongst the front-runners for back-to-back promotion.
Burnley who were relegated from the Premiership last season and Middlesbrough who are now under the helm of former Leeds favourites Gordon Strachan and Gary McAllister are joint favourites at 9/1.
Last seasons Championship play off final losers Cardiff City are currently 12/1.
Norwich City who won the League One title last season ahead of Leeds are 16/1 and Millwall who won the play off final are 40/1.
Scunthorpe United are once again the favourites for the drop despite an excellent season in the Championship last season and they are currently 80/1.
Leeds opening day opponents Derby County are currently 25/1 to win the title.

I think for you chaps getting out of L1 was the hard part, I fully expect to see you compete next season.

I agree. At least in the Championship we will probably have teams willing to to come out and play us toe to toe, instead of the usual L1 opposition getting ten men behind the ball hoping to get a break.

If we settle for a top half finish we will be in the bottom half. If we go for promotion we have a chance of making the play offs. Lack of ambition is a killer.

I think we are now three signings from a very good side. We have done some astute business so far bringing in four decent players in problem areas. I expect to see a bit of cash splashed once the window opens on July 1st.

I will save my money thanks, don't see us being close to promotion at all.

I expect to see us in or around the playoffs if a couple more quality signings are brought in.

I can see Leeds being a lot shorter in the betting on the eve of the season. We are going to bring a few more players in and the money will go on.
