LUFC Bessone looking for a top six finish

LUFC Bessone looking for a top six finish

New Leeds United player Federico Bessone believes the club can be a top six side in their first season back in the Championship.

The left back who joined from fellow championship side Swansea City believes that the whites can emulate his former club by being in the play off spots this season, speaking on the official website, Bessone said, 'Last season, Swansea had a good season and were in the top six for most of it. But this is now a new year and I am here because Leeds can be in the top six.
'If we try to play good football, we will be up there near the top of the league.'

The 26 year old signed on a three-year deal and he is the clubs fourth signing since they won promotion in May.

Bessone was delighted to put pen to paper and join Leeds United, continuing he said, "I know Leeds is a massive club and it`s a pleasure to be here."

Leeds boss Simon Grayson and Chairman Ken Bates have done some very astute dealings so far, bringing in four experienced players all on free transfers.

With seven weeks to go before the season kicks off with a home game with Derby County, Leeds fans will be looking forward to the squad being strengthened further as the club look to be a force in the championship.
