Pugh Gets The 'Spanish Archer'

Danny Pugh has been given the old 'Spanish Archer' by Leeds ... El-Bow.

But Kevin Blackwell believes he will have no problem finding a new club after becoming the first close-season departure from Elland Road.

Pugh's two-year contract expired after the play-off final defeat and the former Manchester United midfielder exercised has moved on.

The 23 year-old moved to Elland Road as part of the deal which took Alan Smith to Old Trafford in 2004 but found first-team opportunities limited last season.

Blackwell: 'Danny will be leaving us. He's exercised his right to become a free agent and look for another club.

'I can't speak highly enough of him, and he's done a good job for us. But he hasn't had too much first-team football here and I'm sure he'll be able to find that elsewhere.'
