LUFC Paynter - It's a privilege to sign for Leeds

Leeds United`s latest recruit Billy Paynter says he couldn`t wait to join the club once he heard they were interested in signing him.

Paynter will join on a three-year contract on July 1st when his contract with Swindon Town expires.

Speaking on the official website, Paynter said, "When Leeds come knocking at your down you don`t turn them away."

'As soon as I knew Leeds were interested in me I really wanted to come to the club. It's just a massive club and to be part of this set up is a privilege.'

The 25 year old enjoyed an exceptional season with the Wiltshire club last season, scoring 29 goals, helping them to the play off final before losing out to Millwall.

"When L666ds come knocking on your door you don't turn them away" God he is good!!!! I do hope he will be on Britain's Got Talent, they need a good comedian!!!!

He will have to get behind you in the queue!
King Billy
I wonder whether he spoke to David Lucas or Jonathan Douglas about the move?
dazza71
I doubt either would have given him a glowing reference after being dumped last close season but I understand this deal has been done a long time so he looks to be able to make his own mind up. Obviously nothing happening in the minor leagues as well seeing have BigBadBlobby on our site again.

Awwww poor old BigBobBummer has got all upset at "little" Leeds attracting players when Bradford "sunday league" City are left with the dingles up front again

A company has just offered me 3 times my salary - shall I jump ship - no brainer ain't it folks - just gotta hope I put in a good shift and don't get sacked.
APG_STFC
L666ds fans make me laugh, you think your a "big" club again even though it took THREE attempts to get out of the 3rd tier of English football and your crowds at bEllEnd Rd are up and down like no ones business.
BigBadBobbyC 9
Well better than Valley Parade where they are DOWN all the time. Is it true Peter Taylor is going to Portsmouth ???
erni
Saying the right things, good start now to shore up that defence
Only-Sleggin
We are a big club & we'd have gone up at the first attempt had it not been for the 15 point deduction, as for poor little bradford they're still stuck in league 2, have not yet even made the play-offs in 3 attempts & only get half decent crowds coz they give out season tickets for tuppence!
WesternKing
We know where we are in the pecking order of football unlike you Bell ends who think your a big club!!! GSCBB!
BigBadBobbyC 9
He has to come on here because he's billybob no mates on the Bradford site.
dazza71
must be so enjoyable being a 'sitty' fan, the biggest cheer you ever get at valley parade is when you hear you superior neighbours are losing!
