LUFC Bates - Players want to join Leeds

Leeds United Chairman Ken Bates believes the name Leeds United is enough to attract players to the club.

Speaking on the official website, Bates said,"There are players who want to come and play for Leeds United, and that`s an advantage we have."

Since the clubs promotion back to the Championship at the start of the month the club have been linked with a whole host of players.

Nobody has yet signed for the club, but Bates says that players want to play for Leeds United ahead of better wages at other clubs, continuing he said, "There`s one player we are negotiating with at the moment who can earn more money elsewhere, but he wants to come here, and he`s not alone in that."

Leeds fans will be looking forward to the news of new players into the club over the summer, as they want to carry on their momentum into the Championship.

Don't really care. If Sir Simon gets us back to the Premiership on ex-Sunday League and/or pub players that'll be good enough for me.
