LUFC Collins wants Leeds move

Neil Collins, who enjoyed a successful loan spell with Leeds United at the end of the season would like to make the move more permanent after being placed on the transfer list at Preston.

Speaking on Teamtalk, Collins said: 'Preston have made it known in the media that they want to sell me.
'If Leeds United want me, I'd walk from Preston to come here.'

The defender proved to be a key part of the side that helped Leeds to a final day promotion back to the Championship.

The former Wolves player was brought into the club after the injury to influential defender Patrick Kisnorbo at the beginning of March.

The 26 year old was an ever present at the heart of the Leeds defence during his loan period, making nine appearances.
