LUFC Kisnorbo big award winner
Leeds United`s Australian defender Patrick Kisnorbo was the big award winner at last night`s end of season awards dinner.
Kisnorbo took both the Player of the season and the Players player of the season.
The Australian international was ruled out of the run in for the Whites in March after suffering an Achilles injury against Millwall which not only ruled him out of the Leeds run in but also this summers World Cup finals.
The other main awards of the evening went to Jermaine Beckford who won the goal of the season for his never to be forgotten winner at Manchester United in the FA Cup in January and Aidan White who took the Young player of the season.

He may have missed a few games through injury but I doubt that without him we would have been where we was at christmas. He was head and shoulders above anyone else in a Leeds shirt upto christmas and held the back four together. I now wish him a speedy recovery but I don't think we will see the same player next season. He's not expected to be back until October and then he's never going to get fully match fit.

We didnt reaise how good he was until he wasnt there and Naylor fell apart. Its likely he wont be with us until November time so I hope SG has a plan.
