LUFC Grayson disappointed with only four goals

Despite putting four goals past MK Dons on Saturday boss Simon Grayson was disappointed that they didn`t score a few more goals.

With Leeds improving their goal difference by three and Millwall by one over the weekend, they are both now on the same goal difference of plus thirty-three.

MK Dons played all of the second half with ten men, yet it took till the 79th minute for Leeds to find a third goal. They was further reduced five minutes later when they had another player dismissed when giving away a penalty which Jermaine Beckford converted.

They had to play the last two minutes of injury time with eight men when they had another player dismissed and Leeds couldn`t find there way past the Millwall keeper with Beckford and Howson in particular missing great chances.

Grayson said, 'Goal difference could be important so I was disappointed that we didn't add a few more to the four we scored."

Leeds are still in the driving seat with two games remaining and know that with maximum points against Charlton and Bristol Rovers they will be returning to the Championship.

Don't get greedy Larry we got the win, 1-0 in the next match is what we want I really don't want to rely on sticking 10 past Bristol on the last match. 4-1 at the start of the day would have been great... If they had lost the second player a lot earlier then it may have been possible to get a few more. i'm happy with the win now 6 more points please.

Sorry Sleggin. I agree with Larry. MK Dons was one of the poorest teams we've seen at ER and we should really have slaughtered them. Surely a missed opportunity. It took the substitiute Beckford to score two goals in the last 15 mins to prevent us from having the title of 'laughing stocks'. Must do better-especially against Charlton or we'll find ourselves in the playoffs.

Worrying times eh ... you think you have problems we've gone off the boil at the wrong time.
APG_STFC
I was disappointed leaving the ground that we'd only scored four, I think if Snodgrass had scored on the stroke of half time we would have easily got six or seven.
