LUFC Fans view v MK Dons

LUFC Fans view v MK Dons

Tiny T gives us his usual player ratings, this time for the home game against MK Dons.

Higgs 5

Not commanding his area or the defence as he should. Needs to be stronger and could have possibly come for the goal.

Hughes 6
Better going forward, his defending though is at times laughable allowing people to turn him easily nearly handed the Dons a second equaliser.

Naylor 5
Another game where the Captain gave away a goal, ball watching for the equaliser allowing the striker to get across him easily, indecisive when to go to the ball for the header, often allowing it to bounce.

Collins 6
Solid if unspectacular, must have had a nosebleed when crossing from the by-line late on. Lucky not to have received a red card late on when retaliating to a challenge.

Parker 7
Showed how much we have missed a quality left back all season, the best defender by far and supported Watt well, unlucky to have got injured and may miss the rest of the season.

Snodgrass 7
Worked hard down the right and covered in front of Hughes well, needs a goal for his confidence.

Johnson 7
Lively in the middle of the park and gave us some much needed height in there as well, got forward well and some tough tackling as well.

Kilkenny 6
Better than I've seen him for a while and looked tired in the later stages, still doesn't put his tackles in and allows the opposition to run through.

Watt 8 Star man
Two assists with him willing to get stuck in, is becoming a fans favourite, also has pace and skill and provides width. If we go up, wouldn't mind him on a season long loan, are you listening Larry.

Becchio 7
Coolly taken first goal after being put in by Watt, the rest was usual Becchio. The man in form.

Gradel 7
Again Max kept Beckford on the bench and scored, worked hard but needs to bring in others rather than trying to do it himself.

Subs

Howson 6

On the bench after a poor performance came on for Parker and nearly got in with a shot which was beaten away, training ground routine saw him nearly set 1 up as well.

Beckford 7
Two goals but should have had three with a header that was harder to miss than score, tough decision next week for Larry.

McSheffrey 5
Not on for long but went for goal when he should have set someone up.

Summary

A return to form and with the opposition losing men to red cards, in the second half we should have scored more, goal difference may come into effect but I hope not.

Defensively we have problems again we gave away a easy goal to allow MK Dons back into the game, need to iron this out for the next two games.

With the strike force on song, who do we leave out? Watt has proved what I've harped on about all season width and gets stuck in.

6 POINTS and were UP
