LUFC Carlisle v Leeds Early Team News

Leeds United boss Simon Grayson has a huge decision to make for Tuesday nights trip to Carlisle United, whether to drop leading goalscorer Jermaine Beckford or not.

With both Max Gradel and Luciano Becchio playing well and scoring on Saturday, will he drop Beckford to the bench after he came in for some criticism from sections of the Elland Road crowd on Saturday.

Leeds scored both goals on Saturday after Beckford was replaced by Becchio with half an hour left of the game.

Bradley Johnson will definitely be missing for Leeds as he picked up his tenth yellow card of the season in Saturday`s win over Southend and serves the first of a two match ban.

Leeds only other definite absentees are Patrick Kisnorbo (Achilles) and Jason Crowe (ankle) who are both ruled out for the rest of the season with injury.

Home side Carlisle have a number of players racing to be fit in time for the game, Jason Price and Danny Livesey (both hamstring) and Peter Murphy (knock) are all struggling with injuries.

They are hopeful of welcoming back Marc Bridge-Wilkinson who missed Saturday`s game at Brighton with a neck injury.

Definitely out are Joe Anyinsah (double hernia), Kevan Hurst (knee) and Andy Cook (foot).

I actually think he will start with Beckford, Grayson hinted after Saturdays game that Becchio wasn't fully fit, thats why he was on the bench. If he is fit, then Grayson needs to grow some ballsand drop him.

If hes fit enough for 30 mins why not start with him and make a decision whe n he runs out of legs. I will be very disappointed if Beckford starts, if Beccio isnt fit enough to start put Grella in.

Unfortunately I think he might start with Becks too. At least we know if it isn't working, we have someone on the bench who can improve the team and will give 110%.

If he starts with becks then I can't see us getting anything from this game that's why I have put a few pounds on Carlisle to win. They are a bit of a boggie team for us
