'If It's Football, It's Vital'

LUFC Gradel backing Leeds for perfect finish

Max Gradel is backing Leeds to win their last five games and claim automatic promotion..

Speaking in the Yorkshire Evening Post, Gradel said, 'We've got to win the last five games. There's no question of us drawing any of them.

'If we win those five games then hopefully we'll get promoted straight away, not by the play-offs."

The 22 year old has put in two man of the match performances since earning a starting place in Leeds last two games.

Gradel was seen by many as an impact player when he first joined the club on loan from Leicester City in October, when he put in a number of match winning performances after being introduced from the bench.

Leeds have got back into the promotion race in the last week winning back to back games for the first time since the Christmas period.

Continuing he said 'We need that to happen and winning (against Southend) was the most important thing. The manager's happy, the players are happy, everyone's happy. It's happy days.'

Leeds now have two tricky looking away games in the space of five days at Carlisle United and Gillingham coming up.

Glad to see he's a bit more than an impact player.

At last he's finally playing like he did when he originally joined and doing it for 90 minutes. Could be a masterstroke by Grayson to play him up front and he could be the man to send us up.

Two M.O.M. performances and I still think there is alot more to come.
