When the two clubs met earlier in the season, Southend held Leeds to a 0-0 draw and bringing to an end Leeds 100% start to the season in their seventh game.

It could have been even worse had Lee Barnard not seen his penalty kick saved by Shane Higgs in the Leeds goal.

Got to really get at them early doors and hope we can score, the longer it goes on the more nervous the side and the crowd will get. The good thing is a draw is no good to Southend so they have got to come at Leeds. Really want three points and a good win, we could do with getting that goal difference back on par with the others at the top.
