LUFC Leeds hoping to welcome back Becchio

Leeds United boss Simon Grayson is set to welcome back Luciano Becchio to the squad for the weekends game with Southend United.

Becchio missed the two games over Easter against Swindon and Yeovil after being knocked unconscious the previous weekend at Norwich City.

The Argentinian took a boot to the head in that game which knocked him unconscious and also caused him to swallow his tongue, after consulting with the club doctor, Grayson chose not to risk him.

With Grayson saying he is going to stick with misfiring Jermaine Beckford up front, and Max Gradel who played alongside Beckford at Yeovil, having his best game when starting, Becchio might have to be happy with a place on the bench.

I do worry that Grayson will drop Gradel to bring Becchio back into the starting line up. We should have enough to play three up front on Saturday, about time we really attacked sides at Elland Road.

I would really like to see Becchio up front with Gradel but it ain't gonna happen. In which case stick with Becks and Gradel and have Becchio on the bench for the Southend game.

Becchio is good to have coming off the bench if need be, we have to stick with Gradel after his performance on Monday.
King Billy
If he's fit I'd start with him

We need his industry but he needs to get into the goals with beckford not scoring. Becchio and Max might work
erni
Thank god he came back, made the difference when they took lazy off and brought on Becchio.
