LUFC Grayson - The glass is always half full

Despite Leeds recent poor run of results boss Simon Grayson is still very optimistic ahead of their clash with league leaders Norwich City on Saturday.

Speaking on Radio Leeds, Grayson said, 'The glass is always half full and we are looking to catch Norwich, and if we do that we'll pull away from third place too.
We have to try and get something out of the game and we have to go there believing we can do it."

Leeds go into Saturday`s game on the back of two very poor performances which has seen them lose at Southampton and at home against Millwall.

What`s more worrying is the fact that they have failed to trouble the keeper in either game.

Leeds, who were eight points clear at the top of the table heading into the New Year are now seriously in danger of losing second place with third placed Millwall only three points behind.

The decline since the New Year has been alarming with the side only picking up fifteen points from fourteen games.

With only nine games remaining, Leeds need to quickly refind their early season form or another go at the Play offs is looking ominously on the horizon.

I am usually an eternal optimist but my glass has been rather empty for a while. I am fed up with people saying -'You'd have taken this position at the start of the season' Of course I would. What you should be answering is 'would you have taken this position at the start of 2010? - No I wouldn't have!

If you pay for a pint you don't expect to get half.

This whole drop in form started when Beckford handed in his transfer request. Has his poor attitude and Larrys reluctance to face up to it killed our season
