LUFC Darville joins Rotherham on loan

Leeds United youngster Liam Darville has joined promotion chasing League Two side Rotherham United on loan for the rest of the season.

The 19 year old enjoyed a spell with the Millers training earlier in the season and has now been snapped up by the club as they look to cement their place in the League Two automatic promotion places.

Speaking on the official website, Darville said, "I had a week there earlier in the season, so I have met a lot of the lads.
They seemed a good set of lads and I can`t wait to get there".

The defender has been a regular for the Leeds reserves this season, earning rave reviews in the process.

As well as being a regular in the reserve side he`s also been a regular for the under 18`s.

Great that he's going to get some experience of first team football. He certainly looks good for the future and hopefully being involved in a promotion campaign at Rotherham will do his confidence the world of good. He could have quite easily have been involved with Leeds promotion push.

I'm surprised he hasn't had more of a look in for the 1st team at Leeds. If he can make a name for himself at Rotherham, it will put him in a good position to challenge next season.
