LUFC Fans view v Millwall

Tiny T gives us his usual player ratings for their performance, this time after the diabolical performance against Millwall.

Ankergren 3

His worst performance of the season, beaten at his near post twice, says it all.

Hughes 2
Diabolical defending, distribution weak, how can anyone want to give him a contract for next season.

Naylor 4
Another who rarely passes to his own teammate, launches it at any opportunity.

Kisnorbo
A shame he went off early, looks like he's out for the season and will miss the World Cup.

Bromby 5
At least he can tackle, some good long throws early on, but like Naylor passing atrocious.

Snodgrass 4
Keeps trying but delivery too slow and always wants to cut inside, vary the play Snoddy and don't try to run through everybody.

Doyle 3
Another who was woeful, though he spent a lot of the time watching the ball sail high overhead, as the midfield got cut out.

Howson 4
Two close attempts on goal, another who spent the night with a stiff neck.

Johnson 2
Anonymous, confidence has gone, where is the player who scored for fun earlier in the season?

Becchio 3
No service to work from, and unusually lacked his graft that makes him loved by the fans

Dickov 5 Star man
Got stuck in grafted when possible and tried to move us forward, to no avail though.

Subs

White 5

A couple of good runs and defended better than most around him

Kilkenny 4
Ineffective

Gradel 4
One shot, which would have got him two points at Headingley.

Summary

A woeful performance from Leeds, who had little invention and were prepared to just hoof the ball in any direction.

Grayson and his backroom staff must take some of the blame as this is a side that looks disjointed and lacking any team ethic or direction.

I would have played White wide left and moved Johnson to left back to give us something different and width.

With Parker injured since the first game of the season and Crowe not up to playing right back why do we still persist in playing square pegs in round holes?

Come in number 22 your time is up. Time for Hughes to be moved away from the first team squad, no new contract offer proved yet. Again he's a headless chicken who runs around like he's been dazzled by a cars headlights as the saying goes ' Time to GO '

If the season had started in January, the points gained would have had meant we'd be 15th.

Play offs, God Help Us!

Positive notes are there isn`t any after that performance.

Although he was at fault especially for the second goal I think your being a bit harsh to single out Hughes. He's actually been one of our better players since the turn of the year and once again last night he was asked to switch positions after an injury. I also thought Kilkenny brought something to the midfield when he came on, we finally had a player on the pitch who was willing to get it down and play it to feet. It really shows how poor we was when Dickov with a 5 gets star man!

Sorry Daz you'll never convince me about Hughes, I've said the same about him since he joined.
