LUFC Leeds v Brentford Early Team News

Leeds United will welcome new signing Paul Dickov into the squad for Saturday`s home clash with Brentford.

Veteran striker Dickov played for the reserves in midweek after signing on a short tem deal for the rest of the season at the start of the week.

Rui Marques returned for the reserves in midweek and could be pushing for a place in the squad.

Only long term injured Shane Higgs and Ben Parker are missing. Parker has recently returned from injury but picked up a knee injury in training during the week, it`s hoped that the set back will only put him back a week.

Brentford have not played for two weeks through the weather and will hope to welcome back defender Ryan Dickson from a knee injury for the game.

They are also welcoming back midfielder Marcus Bean who has also recovered from a knee injury.

John Akinde has returned to his parent club Bristol City after a loan spell at the Bees.

I can't see Grayson starting with Dickov, surely if he was to drop any of the strikers it would have to be Beckford on current form and I can't see him doing that.

One win in six is not a team thats pushing for promotion. We need to get back to winning ways & I cant see any other than a win today. See Beckford earning his wages, worry over our right back. A clean sheet,3-0 to the MIGHTY LEEDS. MOT.
