LUFC Dickov signs Leeds deal

Leeds United have completed the signing of Paul Dickov on a short term deal for the rest of the season.

Dickov was released by Leicester City at the end of January and enjoyed a short trial with Leeds last month.

The 37-year-old then flew out to America to have a trial with MLS side FC Toronto before returning to Leeds.

Dickov has played under boss Simon Grayson before during his time as Blackpool boss when he scored six goals in twelve games.

Is he on a short term deal because he wasn't big enough for a 'tall' term deal! :hihi:

Lets hope he's better than McSheffrey has been
Tiny T
bugger me - is he still doing the rounds?
merlin
I think he'll do OK for you

Lets hope he is better than McS, Vokes, Trundle and Dickinson put together as he will then be about okay. I have a feeling he has been brought in for his off field influence as well as on field
erni
His experience and desire to win will hopefully benefit the Leeds team and aybe rub off on one or two players.

I agree Andy, I think he will do a good job for us, might not score a stack of goals but will upset the opposition and allow the rest of the side to benefit.
