'If It's Football, It's Vital'

LUFC Leeds v Walsall Team News

Leeds United start a run of three home games in a week when they welcome Walsall to Elland Road on Tuesday night.

Leeds are still sweating on the fitness of leading goalscorer Jermaine Beckford who has missed the last two games through injury.

Defender Patrick Kisnorbo once again looks set to be missing as he struggles to overcome an ankle injury.

Leeds are still without long term injured Shane Higgs and Ben Parker.

New signing Julian Gray might make his first start for Walsall after starting on the bench in Saturday`s 1-0 defeat at Oldham.

Mark Hughes and Manny Smith will be hoping to earn a recall to the starting eleven as boss Chris Hutchins might make a few changes after the weekend`s disappointing defeat.

Walsall are definitely without Steve Jones, Sam Parkin and Rhys Weston through injury.

If Beckford isn't fit I think we need to play two up front so need to give Grella a game. Walsall will put eleven men behind the ball so playing with just Becchio up front would be daft.

Walsall will try and make it hard for us and catch us on the counter. Essential that we get straight at them from the whistle!
