LUFC Grayson disappointed with a point

Leeds United boss Simon Grayson was left disappointed despite his side coming away with a point from Leyton Orient thanks to a 95th minute own goal.

Grayson speaking on Teamtalk.com said 'I am disappointed because I thought we were outstanding particularly in the first half.
'Just how the score was 0-0 at half time I will never know. We had so much possession and so many shots on target, so many crosses going in and limited them to very few opportunities.
Leeds should have been out of sight by half time with the visitors missing a whole host of chances to take the lead.

By half time, they had won nine corners and had eleven attempts on goal but failed to break the deadlock.

Leeds were made to pay for the missed chances when Mkandiwire gave the hosts the lead with just seven minutes remaining.

Orient looked like claiming all three points until in the fifth minute of injury time, after a goalmouth scramble a shot by Luciano Becchio was turned into his own net by Charlie Daniels.

The result sees Leeds drop further behind Norwich City at the top who came from behind to score two goals in the last ten minutes at Brighton and win 2-1.

Norwich are now four points clear, Leeds still have two games in hand and play one of these when they entertain Walsall in midweek.

I know how he feels, we should have had the game dead and buried by half time. I just felt the longer the game went on we was going to get caught by a sucker punch. It was made even worse as Norwich were turning their game around as we went behind.
