Leeds ladies secure silverware
Leeds Carnegie (formerly Leeds United) ladies football team have lifted the first silverware of the season after beating Everton 3-1 in the Women`s Premier League Cup final.
Goals by Katie Holtman and two from Ellen White secured the win.
Leeds were 2-0 up inside 20 minutes thanks to Holtman and White before Fara Williams gave Everton hope of getting back into the game early in the second half when she reduced the deficit.
20 year old White secured the trophy for Leeds inside the final ten minutes.

What a pity its their last season in top flight football because of lack of sponsorship. I have seen them play and believe me they are not bad at all.
