Leeds recorded their first league win in four games last Saturday when they beat Colchester 2-0 at home.

Last time out away they suffered their worst defeat of the season when going down 3-0 at Swindon Town.

The two sides have only ever met eight times in their history with Hartlepool still looking for their first win. Leeds have won seven with one game being drawn.

When they met at Victoria Park last season a late Jermaine Beckford goal was enough for Leeds to claim all three points in a 1-0 win.

The two sides met at Elland Road at Christmas, Leeds had to come from behind to claim all three points in a 3-1 win thanks to two goals from Beckford and one from Becchio.
