LUFC Fans view v Swindon

Vital Leeds editor Dazza71 gives you his player ratings from Tuesday night`s dismal defeat at Swindon Town.

Casper Ankergren 7 Star Man

Without Casper it could quite easily have been six or seven, couldn`t do much about any of the goals.

Jason Crowe 4
Had a very poor first half and wasn`t surprised to see him replaced at half time.

Leigh Bromby 6
Looked really good again in the centre of defence in the first half but when he switched to right back for the second half he wasn`t quite as effective.

Patrick Kisnorbo 6
Probably his poorest game in a Leeds shirt, saying that he still played reasonably well, just not up to his usual standard.

Andy Hughes 5
Had a very fast and tricky winger up against him, some of his distribution was poor.

Mike Doyle 6
Only midfielder to show any fight, shame the rest of the midfield went missing.

Jon Howson 5
Another poor game, about time he was given a rest. I don`t think he`s played well all season.

Robert Snodgrass 5
Not quite as effective as he was on Saturday in a free role behind Beckford.
Once again his final ball was poor.

Bradley Johnson 5
Not looked the same player since returning from injury and played a shocking pass that led to Swindon`s second goal.

Jermaine Beckford 5
Closed down players in attack but was ineffective as an attacking force, had a good chance in the first minute after a good clearance from Ankergren but fluffed the shot.

Neil Kilkenny 5
Started the first ten minutes well but disappeared as the half wore on and no surprise to see him subbed.

Subs
Michalik 5

Might have been better going three at the back with Bromby, Kisnorbo and Hughes than bringing on Missakick!!

Becchio 6
Looked more up for it tonight than he has done in his last two or three appearances. Was very unlucky to have a good headed goal disallowed.

Gradel 6
Brought a bit of life into the Leeds attack and gave the Swindon left back a hard time. Was unlucky not to win Leeds a penalty when clearly brought down in the area.

Summary
Far too many long balls and Beckford was getting absolutely nothing from two solid centre backs.

We was lucky it was only 3-0 at the end against a very well organised Swindon side with former Leeds man Jonathan Douglas pulling the strings in midfield.

Things have been going wrong since Grayson as tried to accommodate five midfielders in the side.
Needs to drop one of the five and if it was left up to me it would be Howson.

Hopefully this is our blip and we will soon be back to winning ways.
Got to take three points on Saturday against Colchester.

I'm sick of Hughes and Crowe now. Hughes didn't know where he was half the time. I think we need to go back with Becchio now, he looked lively when he came on. Dont know what his goal was ruled out for. And final thing....our fans were out-sung 1st minute to last, bad performance from the fans.

Suprised you scored some as high as you did, sounded extremely poor on the radio
