Leeds United boss Simon Grayson believes the draw at Tottenham was a better performance than the one that knocked out Manchester United in the last round.
Speaking on Sky Sports Grayson said "When you look at the Tottenham team, it was stronger than the one when we went to Old Trafford.
For fifteen minutes we was under the cosh, because we knew Tottenham had some quality players and would start the game really quickly".
Leeds twice came from behind to earn a replay at Elland Road a week on Tuesday.
After weathering the early onslaught from the home side, which also saw Casper Ankergren save a Jermaine Defoe penalty, Leeds settled down and could have quite easily have taken the lead with Jermaine Beckford and Robert Snodgrass both having a couple of good chances.
Despite Leeds falling behind just before half time, they was soon back on level terms thanks to Jermaine Beckford.
They then continued to take the game to their Premiership hosts and could have easily gone in front, Robert Snodgrass having the best chance but his left foot shot just went wide.
Spurs retook the lead inside the final twenty minutes, but the never say die attitude of Leeds was rewarded deep into injury time when Beckford scored his second goal of the afternoon from the spot
"We just had to keep believing we could get back into the game" said Grayson.
Leeds were backed once again be a very vociferous following from the Leeds fans, who never stopped willing their side on and that was rewarded with Beckford`s late strike.
