LUFC Grayson looking for a response

Simon Grayson is looking for his side to respond again this weekend after their poor performance against Wycombe Wanderers last Saturday.

Leeds put in a below standard performance and were lucky to come away with a point against a team currently in 23rd place in the division.

Speaking on the official website Grayson said "We slipped below the standards we have set ourselves last weekend but we`ll draw on the positives of the season and will be looking for another result".

Grayson`s side have been quick to respond this season when they have put in a poor performance, after their only league defeat of the season at Millwall earlier in this season they followed this up with, two 4-0 wins in a row and a run of six consecutive wins.

Despite last weekends poor performance, the side still managed to grind out a point and are now unbeaten in seventeen games, the longest unbeaten run in the top four divisions at the moment.

Leeds will want to gain three points tomorrow and reach the 60-point mark for the season in only their 25th game.

I dont think we'll play anything like we did against Wycombe even dough this will be close...But i'd say we will hit the 60 mark this weekend after only 25 games...The team should be well rested not having to travel by coach after flying instead...

Won't their arms ache?

I am sure Graysons got last week out of their minds. We have always responded well after a poor performance so far this season.

HMMM NOT SURE ABOUT THAT Dazza. After Liverpool we struggled to beat a 10 man MKD with a last min goal, Followed that by a poor draw against Carlisle (similar to Wycombe), a 0-0 against Charlton at home, a really poor 2-1 against Darlington and hangng on at the end followed by a fortunate 2-1 against Norwich and a 2-1 defeat against Millwall.......THEN we got it back together. Lets hope Grayson has this run in mind.

that is true erni... i kinda forgot about that form slump. but when you take 11 points in a 6 game downturn, you cant really complain. On the other hand norwich are chasing hard and we cant afford to give them a sniff by letting them get another 2 or 3 points back on us. only a few poor performances and they've almost got us... im going with a 3-1 victory this weekend.. snoddy with the first, then kilkenny and beckford in extra time

You forget the bad performances when we take three points
dazza71
We've done that a few times this season Daz, lets hope its 3 points gained after Exeter
