LUFC Young trio released

Young Leeds United trio Oliver Hotchkiss, Josh Falkingham and Jonathan Webb have all been released by the club.

Midfielder Hotchkiss has been on loan at Blue Square conference club Mansfield Town and has joined the club until the end of the season.

Defender Webb made one first team appearance for the club at Northampton Town in the FA Cup last season but as failed to make an impression on the first team since.

Midfielder Falkingham has been a regular for the reserves this season making seven appearances and scoring three goals.

Leeds have said that all three players have been released to further their career.

Someone said a while back on here they'd heard Falkingham was being released that came as a shock as he's done such a good job with the reserves. Always sad to see the oungsters being released, always more prouder of players when they come through the youth system. I wish them all well in the future and hope they don't come back to haunt us or are transferred for big money in years to come.
