Ben Parker was delighted to be back in a Leeds shirt in last nights reserve victory over Scunthorpe United after being missing since the opening day of the season.
The 22 year old played almost 70 minutes of the game and speaking on the official website said "I was pretty tired, but it was fantastic to be back".
The left back has missed five months after originally needing to be replaced inside the first thirty minutes of the season with a groin injury.
Parker was close to a return in the autumn before a hip injury meant he required surgery which ruled him out until the New Year.
The former Leeds Academy player is now setting his sights on a return to the first team, although he doesn`t expect to be involved in the weekend trip to Exeter City.
With Leeds having to face eleven games in fourty-two days, boss Simon Grayson is likely to want to make a number of changes to the side over the period and Parker will be hoping to feature, continuing he said "There`s a lot of Tuesday/Saturdays over the next weeks so there`s plenty of games coming up.
Leeds have a number of options in the left back position with Andy Hughes, Bradley Johnson and Aiden White all featuring in that position since Parker`s injury.
