LUFC Bates -Grayson will lead us all the way

Leeds United Chairman Ken Bates is backing Leeds boss Simon Grayson to lead them all the way back to the Premiership.

Grayson, who as just completed a year in charge at Elland Road was recently linked with the Premiership job at Burnley but Bates speaking on Yorkshire Radio said "Why would he want to leave Leeds for Burnley?
He wants to manage in the Premiership with Leeds and hopefully he will do that sooner rather than later".

Leeds are currently at the top of League One by six points and have a game in hand on their nearest rivals.

Grayson wrote his name into Elland Road folklore earlier this month when he took his Leeds side to Manchester United and led them to a famous 1-0 win thanks to a goal from Jermaine Beckford. It was the side`s first win at Old Trafford since 1981.

Grayson who is a lifelong Leeds United supporter was also quick to distance himself from the vacant Burnley job and is looking forward to leading Leeds back to the Premiership one day.
