LUFC Parker set for reserves outing

LUFC Parker set for reserves outing

Ben Parker will make his long awaited comeback tonight against Scunthorpe in the reserves after being out since the first game of the season.

The left back hurt his groin in the first half hour of the game against Exeter City on the opening day and had to be replaced.

Parker was close to a comeback earlier in the season but suffered a hip injury that required surgery.

The 22 year old was a key member of Simon Grayson`s team in the second half of last season and he had cemented himself as the first choice left back before the injury.

Parker`s return to fitness means that only Shane Higgs remains the only long term absentee as he still struggles to overcome his thigh injury.
