LUFC Grayson - We lacked energy

Leeds United boss Simon Grayson was disappointed with the sides performance saying they lacked energy.

Leeds had to settle for a point against a struggling Wycombe Wanderers side who came to Elland Road and performed well above their lowly position.

Speaking on Radio Leeds, Grayson said "One week you can be top of the world and beat one of the best teams in the world and the next week you can be disappointed you`ve only picked up a point".

Leeds made the ideal start when Jon Howson`s long range shot found it`s way to the back of the net and many were probably expecting an easy day at the office.

Wycombe though took the game to Leeds and were unlucky not to equalise in the first half when twice hitting the woodwork.

Continuing Grayson said "They came here and just played as if they had no fear in the world and that`s what we did last week".

The visitors equalised just past the hour through Pittman, who looked dangerous all afternoon.

Despite the disappointment of the result the side moved a step closer promotion with a point, and are still well clear of third place in League One.

Hopefully that will be another cue for a kick up the backside and a run of good results similar to when its happened earlier in the season.

Agreed. Reminded me of the game after the Liverpool match where we struggled against a 10 man MK Dons. Then we went on yet another great unbeaten run. Same again please.
