LUFC Beckford wins Player of the month award
Jermaine Beckford has won the Coca Cola League One player of the month for December.
The inform striker scored five goals during the month, including four over the Christmas period.
The striker who has handed in a transfer request this month beat of competition from Wes Hoolahan-Norwich, Deon Burton - Charlton and Ricky Lambert - Southampton.
Simon Grayson once again missed out on the manager of the month award. Grayson has now been nominated five times this season and yet to win the award.
Paul Lambert at Norwich City scooped the award.
