LUFC Capaldi returns to Cardiff

Tony Capaldi has returned to his parent club Cardiff City after his loan spell ended at Elland Road on Monday.

The 28 year old made just four starts for Leeds after joining the club back in November and he hadn`t featured in any of their last six games.

The Ireland international who as been told by Cardiff boss David Jones that he is free to find another club, Capaldi had also expressed his desire to stay at Leeds after the loan deal finished.

With the form of Andy Hughes in the current left back position plus the back up of Aiden White and Ben Parker nearing a return Leeds obviously feel they have more than enough cover in that area of the team.

Capaldi has joined Hogan Ephraim and Sam Vokes in returning to their parent clubs in the last week.

Leeds now have just Mike Doyle who is on a season long loan from Coventry, Max Gradel who is with the club until the 17th January from Leicester and keeper David Martin until the end of the month from Liverpool on loan at the club.

So glad Grayson's sent him back, we already have better at the club and he looked awful in some of his performances especailly aaginst Huddersfield.

Was totally exposed for pace and positioning at times and is not good enough for us. Parker is running and doing some ball work so the exposure there is lessening.
