Former Leeds United favourite Brian Flynn believes that the club will be returning to the big time sooner rather than later.
Flynn was at Old Trafford on Sunday to see the side beat Manchester United for the first time since 1981, when he scored the winning goal.
Speaking in the YEP Flynn said 'Leeds are on a roll now and will be very hard to stop.
In fact, I believe they will go straight up through the Championship and be back in the Premier League the season after next."
Flynn who made over 150 appearances for the club between 1977 and 1982 also thinks the side will have promotion sewn up by the end of February and as been very impressed by Leeds boss Simon Grayson.
Continuing Flynn said 'To someone outside the club things seem to be heading in the right direction and for that, Simon Grayson deserves the highest credit.'
The 54 year old is currently in charge of the Welsh under 21 team, having enjoyed club success himself during a lengthy managerial career.
