LUFC Grayson delighted with performance

Simon Grayson was delighted with his sides character and performance after coming from behind to win 3-1 against Hartlepool United.

Speaking on the Official website, Grayson said "I was delighted with the result and the performance.
I thought the players worked hard, showed a lot of character, and they dug in to get the result we deserved."

Despite dominating, Leeds fell behind after 25 minutes to a Bjornsson headed goal.

It was the first time the club had gone behind at home all season and only the third time home or away, the other two coming at Walsall and Millwall twice.

Leeds were in front by half time thanks to goals from Beckford and Becchio.
Beckford wrapped up the points half way through the second half with his second of the afternoon.

I expected a tough game, Hartlepool have always come to Leeds and given us a few scares since we got relegated.

Good to see they came back to claim all the points. Beckford and Becchio in the goals as well.
King Billy
They gave it a go at least but were second best most of the game. This was a banana skin in the making so well done the boys for grinding it out.
